"Vivirá vuestro corazón"

Dios mío, Dios mío, ¿por qué me has abandonado?

Salvation John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Lord, give us your vision and your heart that we may see salvation where all we could see was condemnation. Give us your compassion for the world you so loved that came to save, not forgetting you have done with us the same. ...

"Only To Be Yours", song by Meredith Andrew.

This song represents my heart's prayer before the Lord.  Undivided, strip everything else away Burn the idols, the things in my life that have replaced You I lay my life down here on Your altar Empty my hands of all I've been holding back Take everything I have Only to be Yours, Lord, Yours, Lord Take it from my hands Until I'm holding onto only You Captivated, You've stolen my heart away I've been liberated the chains of this world forever broken You laid Your life down, now I surrender Lifting my hands, I'm holding nothing back To take everything I have Only to be Yours, Lord, Yours, Lord Take it from my hands Until I'm holding onto only You For everything I want is found in You Every breath in me, a gift from You I have nothing here apart from You I am Yours, Lord, only Yours Take everything I have Only to be Yours, Lord, Yours, Lord Take it from my hands Until I'm holding onto only You Take everything I have Only to be Yours, Lord, Yours, Lord Take i...

Living the Surrendered Life

This time I want to share this beautiful devotional. It is the content from day 12 of 21 days of this reading plan from Youversion® Enjoy and be blessed! When I was young, I often played the game Mercy. It’s a simple game really. You and your opponent take both of your hands and intertwine them with each other’s. You then proceed to bend them back trying to “win the game”. When it starts to hurt beyond what you can handle, you merely yell, “Mercy!” and your opponent stops. Whoever yells “Mercy!” is the loser. Webster defines mercy as this: compassion shown to an offender; imprisonment rather than death imposed as penalty for first-degree murder In the Christian life, we are far from losers when we are given mercy. Not only was Christ’s sacrifice on the cross full of grace, but also full of mercy! We deserved that cross, not Jesus. We are the offenders, not Him. But God showed us his amazing compassion by not giving us what we...

Have you heard about Jesus?

HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT JESUS? You must know that He is all you need in life. You must know and always remember that He loves you greatly. You are very special to Jesus. He knows you by name and thinks of you always. He wants to have a personal relationship with you. Remember: JESUS LOVES YOU. 1 John 4 (From the Bible) “This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God. This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves and continue to state openly that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world. Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God. ...

Encourage a weary believer today... go into prayerful battle on his or her behalf... remind your brother or sister in Christ that victory is assured. This tired and worn down friend needs your help; the fight against the devil is dark and dangerous. We Christians may be few, but we are a happy few. We are fellow warriors with each beside the other. And as long as we stand firm and let nothing move us, our Captain shall take us to victory! -Taken from Jony & friends daily devotional Lord, help me to take my friendships to a deeper level in which prayer, study, confession of sin, honesty, transparency and spiritual openness rally us to your side. Make us aware of the spiritual warfare in which we are engaged today.
