My Grace Is All You Need
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Grace ‘charis’ (G5485). The favor and love of God in action. That which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, loveliness, charm. (Interlinear translation)
"There are two ways of relief. It can come by removing the load or by strengthening the shoulder that bears the load. Grace expresses God’s acceptance and pleasure in us, a status of favor and approval." (David Guzik)
When I feel that I need to quit, what I really need is His grace.
When I feel I don't have what it takes, I have His grace, so I have what I need, because "His grace is all I need."
When fear and anxiety attempt to stop me, it is His grace what I need to run to. Run to grace, don't run away.
When I feel the burden is too heavy and the battle is too big, His grace is sufficient; His grace is enough to sustain me.
Whatever the need, what I need is His grace.
When I feel rejected or not valued or understood, grace means I have God's favor and acceptance.
When the future looks dark, His grace is all I need to face it.
"Grace is the favor and love of God in action. It means He loves us and is pleased by us. "My love is enough for you."" (David Guzik)
More than being sufficient, His grace overflows.
"Grace is not a tiny target; it’s an endless pool." (Holley Gerth)
My weakness, my anxiety, my propensity to fear, my lack of confidence --make me completely dependent on His grace and on His strength. His power is made perfect in weakness!
When I have nothing else left, Grace fills every particle of my existence.
Lord, your grace is all I need. Amen.
